CHRIS MACKEY – PRESIDENT

Prior to founding rate industrial automation and purchasing Jesco Products at the beginning of 2022, Chris and a (great) partner founded and grew an automation & assembly machine company in Dexter, MI (outside of Ann Arbor) for 15 years to approximately $20MM revenue, named Automation Controls & Engineering (aka ACE, www.ace-automation.net). He has been in the assembly & automation integration space for 25 years now after earning a BS in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Business Management while at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC.

JOHN MACGREGOR – VP SALES & APPLICATIONS ENGINEERING

John has been involved in automation and manufacturing for over 20 years and holds a Mechanical Engineering Technology degree from the University of Maine. He’s worked throughout his career in both small company and large corporate environments, developing a vast and diverse skill set ranging from sales and marketing to application engineering, project management, operations and manufacturing. His true passion is helping customers navigate a successful path to achieve their automation goals and objectives, whether planning for a company’s first automation venture or scaling programs for a multi-national manufacturing conglomerate.
